Wynne Water and Utilities
We have a 3.3 million gallon water plant on West Martin Drive. The plant can produce that much water daily. Currently the average production is less than 1 million gallons a day. This being the case we would advertise that we could produce 2.3 million gallons a day for future customer or customers. Our wastewater plant can treat around 3 million gallons a day depending on what is in the waste stream. The average flow is below 1 million gallons per day. So we could receive sewer from a customer or customers discharging 2 million gallons a day. If a plant has toxicity in the discharge we will have to deal with them on a case by case basis. Currently the city has approved a 12.6 million dollar expenditure to upgrade the water and sewer systems. This process will take 4-7 years to complete..
