Relocation Packets
We send out relocation packets to individuals through internet contacts. These packets contain information about our County as well as information on Chamber members. If you have items you would like us to include in our packet, please bring them by the office. Items should be in paper form and not too bulky.
Web Site
We list your business on our web site and offer your business a link from our site. Please visit our web site at: crosscountychamber.com. Thousands of people have visited our web site, from all over the world. Our site is also used to make community announcements on upcoming area events, as well as school happenings. We invite you to take advantage of this great advertising tool.
Email Blasts
We will send out upcoming events and specials for your business with an email blast to our membership. This is a great way to communicate with other members.
Ambassadors
We have a team of County Ambassadors who welcome newcomers to our community with a packet of information and other useful items, such as phone directories. A list of Chamber members is included in this information. Again, we welcome information about your business or coupons that can be used for services you offer.
Ribbon Cuttings
We make arrangements for new business ribbon cutting ceremonies. This includes a picture in our local newspaper, which helps bring awareness to the community about you and your products.
Special Events
We are always striving hard to bring events to our community. Some of these events include: Wynne Farmfest; Cherryfest; Hickoryfest; Wynne, Cherry Valley and Parkin Christmas Parades; Wildlife Expo; PAST Living History Fair; Paint the Town Contest; Mid-South Marathon and Vietnam Moving Wall Exhibit. In some cases we give financial support, while other events may only require advertising or volunteer help. The Chamber Board is always willing to do their part to help. Our theory is that if we bring people to our communities through various events, they will spend money, which will in turn help our Chamber members to prosper.
Projects
We sponsored a contest and produced a county flag, which is second to none. It now represents our local National Guard Unit in Iraq. Our county flag will also be presented to new industries locating in our area.
Beautification
We work closely with several groups to enhance the appearance of our community. Presently we are working with the "Holiday Lighting and Decorating Committee", which was established to purchase new Christmas decorations for Wynne. The underpass painting was another project of the Chamber. This project is scheduled to be completed when weather permits. The Endowment Foundation of Cross County received the Chamber's endorsement to begin their work, which has resulted in hundreds of dollars in grants to non-profits groups in our County.
Working
We have an annual banquet for our Chamber members and a membership outing each year. This is always a great way to visit with other members and share business ideas or let others know about your business.
